But Jesus called them to Him, saying, “Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” —LUKE 18:16, ESV
For 20 years, Samaritan’s Purse has delivered shoebox gifts packed by caring people like you to hurting children around the world.
Ways You Can Get Involved
PACK A GIFT & PRAY. A shoebox filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies tangibly demonstrates God’s love to a child in need. Guides for how to pack a shoebox may be available at your church, or you can order free materials online at www.samaritanspurse.org. Remember to pray that God will touch the heart of every child who receives a shoebox gift, and that many children and families will come to faith in Jesus Christ.
GIVE. A donation of just $7 per box makes it possible for Operation Christmas Child to deliver each gift that you pack to a child thousands of miles away. Use the Follow Your Box feature to donate online and discover where your gift is distributed.
VOLUNTEER. Explore volunteer opportunities ranging from short-term service at a drop-off location or Processing Center, to seasonal or year-round leadership as a group project leader or Area Team leader. Learn more at www.samaritanspurse.org.
DISCIPLE. Your gift can help give a child the opportunity to enroll in The Greatest Journey follow-up discipleship program that teaches children about salvation through Jesus Christ. Just $6 can provide a child with a 12-lesson Bible program and New Testament.
All boxes are due back November 16, 2014.DOWNLOAD FLYER
