The Seamless Summer Food Service Program (SSFSP) was established to ensure that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Free meals, that meet Federal nutrition guidelines, are provided to all children 18 years old and under at approved SSFSP sites in areas with significant concentrations of low-income children. Fannin county is one of those areas.
BRUMC has been selected to be a “stationary site” for the 2014 summer. A lunch meal will be served each Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. And a bagged snack will be sent home with the child. The program dates are: June 2 through July 25.
